Museo Castelvecchio
Lying on the banks of the Adige River, the castle was built in 1354 and later restored in 1958 by the acclaimed Venetian architect Carlos Scarpa, after being destroyed by the Germans during World War II. Today, it houses a fascinating collection of sculptures, statues, paintings, and canvasses from the Middle Ages to the 18th century. One should not miss the equestrian statue of the warlord Cangrande I located in the large courtyard.
