Museo Delle Sinopie
Just as the name suggests, the Museo delle Sinopie is a museum of the sinopies. A sinopie is the preliminary sketch of the frescos to be made on the walls of any building. Recovered from under the walls of the Camposanto, these sinopie are extremely important in understanding the early roman architecture and style. Apart from these sketches, some other 12th century carvings and sculptures are also illuminating.
