Strossmayer Gallery Of Old Masters
Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer’s sculpture dominates the park at the Yugoslav Academy of Arts and Sciences where the gallery is located. It houses over 4,000 items but only 300 items are displayed at any given time. Important artifacts include the works of various European masters including the fabled Baska Tablet – the oldest Glagolitic script in existence.
