Mount Medvednica
Considered as the “Bear Mountain” of the city, you can ski, hike and bike or explore Medvedgrad’s medieval fortress. Although the road uphill is very steep, one would not have to worry about it by taking the cable car going to the top and back. There are several ski rental shops, warming huts and cafes.
