Cathedral Of The Assumption Of The Virgin Mary
The twin spires of this Gothic structure are perpetually covered with scaffolding and tarp-shrouded construction zone. The exterior of the cathedral is still an ongoing work but it cannot spoil the beauty and grace of this masterpiece by Herman Bollé, which has become a symbolic structure of Zagreb. The interior glows beauty as it displays the 18th-century marble pulpit by Mihael Cussal and the sarcophagus of Alojzije Stepanic.
