Franciscan Monastery
A small apothecary shop inside the 14th-century monastery is the oldest pharmacy in Europe – since 1317. The monastery has a Romanesque cloister and frames an open garden where one can imagine living a contemplative life. The complex is home to a 15th-century well, a bell tower, St. Francis Church and the monastery museum that contains ancient music manuscripts, writings, gold and silver items that enlighten Dubrovnik's history.
