What is the price of a ticket?
If you want to travel from Point A to Point B within the city borders of Vienna, you will have to pay EUR 1,70 for your ticket.
In case you expect to travel a lot on the public transport network, we strongly recommend that you buy another ticket. Depending on your needs, a 24-hour ticket, a 72 hour ticket or a weekly ticket may be the one that you are looking for.
Tickets are available at almost every public transport station and the vending machines have instructions in English language.
Travelling on the public transport system without a valid ticket will result in a fine, if you are caught.
