| I am looking for a cheap way to get from the mainland of Spain to Dubrovnik this summer. I have looked into various so-called low cost airlines but so far have found only prices in the range of more than 300 EUR which is too much for my taste. Anyone got any experiences in getting a cheap flight from Madrid to Dubrovnik? I was contemplating about some sort of ferry as well but my research has yielded no results so far. Anonymous CommenterGood luck in finding a direct connection from Madrid. My suggestion is to try flying to one of the larger hubs used by low-cost airlines first. You might want to try London-Stansted, Cologne or Frankfurt-Hahn and see whether the airline of choice offers any connections from there. True, it will take you a bit longer to enjoy the beauty of Dubrovnik this way as you\'d have to take 2 flights but the savings might be worth this strategy.
