We were on a tour of Rome and did a lot of sight seeing including visiting of a lot of art galleries. We decidedly planned to visit the Galleria Borghese and were informed that we needed advance booking because the gallery admitted people in at timed slots. We chose the three to five slots and even though it was really crowded at that time, it was tolerable. We toured the gallery within two hours and within the prescribed time limit were able to visit all the important exhibits. We saw a lot of exquisite master pieces and were awed by its splendor. The Caravaggio’s are really worth seeing. The ambience of the gallery was ideal and the places were really well lit.The gallery is really worth touring. I just want to remind you to put your Roma Pass to use if you own one as we were given a discount in the gallery too when we produced our Pass.
