| Is a 2-week stay during mid-August to mid-September perfect in Dubrovnik? Will it be too long or a 10-day trip would be better? My hubby had wanted to travel to Croatia for so long and it seemed that we can do that this summer. We would like to go the beaches, go sightseeing and dine in nice restaurants. We would welcome any suggestion that you could offer. Mia |
Anonymous CommenterGreetings, Mia. My friend and I went to Dubrovnik for a couple of days last August and found our 2-day stay more than enough to see everything the place has to offer. You can also try squeezing in a few additional day trips to fill in your remaining days in Dubrovnik. The islands were undeniably beautiful and we were wishing that we have more time to travel the islands. In nine days we were able to visit Dubrovnik, Korcula, Mijet and Hvar. You should try spending more time in those islands instead of staying more in the mainland. The islands were stunning, such absolute paradise. I wish you and your husband a wonderful trip!
Anonymous CommenterHello there, Mia. You will definitely love Dubrovnik. It is such a wonderful place for tourists. I think a week-long stay would be enough for you and your husband. In fact, 2-3 days is enough for some people who went sight-seeing there. But you can also consider visiting South Dalmatia after. I found Neretva Delta very interesting with many places worth visiting and I like to stay near that area for sightseeing purposes.
