| Hello everyone! My hubby and I want to travel to Croatia and stay in Lopud or Babin Kuk. Anyone out there who knows the bus schedule in Old Town? We would like to relax as we explore Old Town and the least thing we want to do is worrying that we might miss the last bus back to Hotel President—we do not want to walk that far to go back to our hotel. Are there many taxis available, in case we don’t want to take the bus? And what if we decided to just stay in Lopud and ride the ferry to and from Dubrovnik? Does anyone know what time is the ferry’s last trip from Dubrovnik to Lopud in the months of June and October? Thanks in Advance. |
Anonymous CommenterHello there! I just returned from Croatia and I stayed at Hotel Minceta when I was there. The President would be a fantastic choice, especially if you have the money for their quite expensive accommodations. But Hotel Minceta is just as good, way cheaper too. Getting around Old Town is an easy feat. There are a lot of taxis waiting outside the city walls. Walking back to the hotel is not bad, after all. Though I did it during a humid day, I figured that the one-hour walk is best done at night when it is cooler and much more enjoyable.
