| Hello everyone! My fiancé and I would like to spend our honeymoon in Dubrovnik this August and we’re open to ideas. A 4 or 5-star hotel would be the perfect choice. We would also like to spend the first half of our trip on a beach and then spend the other half in town. Can anyone suggest the best hotel that is romantic and has a distinct Croatian ambience? I’ve searched various online sites for the most commended hotels but I would like to hear opinions from those who have been in these hotels and some suggestions for exciting activities that we could do there. Anonymous CommenterYou can try Hotel Croatia in Cavtat. It is a five-star hotel and I will be staying there in June. I’ve been to Cavtat twice and it is a wonderful place, a bit quiet but beautiful. I’ve also stayed in Dubrovnik in Hotel Lapad, where the harbour is just right in front of the hotel. It’s about a mile outside of town. Though it isn’t a five-star hotel, it was a pleasant reasonably-priced hotel.
