Any surfing beaches in Phuket?

Hi. I am just wondering if there is any surfing in Phuket. We are about to stay at Karon beach and spend our three weeks there, so any information in regard to surfing and beach itself will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

There is some surfing at Karon Beach but better surfing is at Kata/Kata Noi and Nai Harn Beaches. If you need to rent a surfing board, you may look for Da’s Surf located directly on the beach front of the Boathouse on the southern end of Kata Beach. Hope this helps.
