What type of car is best suited for Phuket?

Phuket is an island and there are plenty of hilly roads so personally I think that a small jeep is the ideal car and is best suited for Phuket. Especially if you are able to get a jeep with open roof so that you can enjoy the sunshine and the wind. It doesn't even have to be a jeep as I think that any type of convertable is well suited for Phuket and its climate.
