Are there any Italian Restaurants in St. Moritz?

We are travelling to St. Moritz in September and would like to know if there are any Italian restaurants in St. Moritz. Although we are not too interested in fine dining or anything of the sort, my wife is a strict vegetarian and we are not too keen to be experimenting with Swiss vegetarian food. So therefore we need to know about any good Italian restaurants around St. Moritz.

Hopefully your wife will have no problem with cheese and in case she does not then there are a lot of things that you can try on the menu in St. Moritz. In case of the Italian restaurants themselves, with the Swiss border so near to the Engadin valley, finding a Swiss restaurant in St. Moritz will hardly be a problem. In fact the number of restaurants available are too numerous to even mention on a list in this answer. Upon arrival to your hotel you will be supplied with a booklet called the “Gastro Guide” which should outline all of the dining options available in St. Moritz with the Italian restaurants being specifically outlined.

Most restaurants it should be mentioned offer vegetarian dining options. In terms of what to order in there are a few things which you should definitely miss such as the cheese Fondue, Raclette and Rösti. Also there is the Pizzocherri, which is a vegetarian dish composed of buckwheat pasta, vegetables and cheese while should definitely liven up your dining experience. At this time of the year, reservations are not necessary in majority of the restaurants unless how ever you need a specific place or time.
