Yes it is possible to rent apartments right along the beach of Kamala. I used to have a friend who rented a very nice studio apartment in Kamala and the entrance to this studio apartment was actually right on the beach. Kamala has been developing a lot over the last 5 years so a lot of those small apartment buildings have made way for larger developments and resorts but fortunately there are still some places in Kamala where you can rent a beach front apartment.

I don't know the names of these beach front apartment providers so your best bet would be to drive along the beach of Kamala and look out for any buildings which look like apartment buildings. You just ask at the reception or in the office of the building manager whether or not they have any apartments for rent.
