Nai Harn Beach is one of the best in Phuket. Many tourists and locals choose Nai Harn beach over the others due to the ideal conditions. During the dry season, the sea is calm and the beach is ideal for swimming.  Rainy season brings big waves making it ideal for surfing. It is advisable to avoid the beach if you want to go swimming during the rainy months of May to October. The beach faces the southwest and it takes the brunt of the monsoon waves.
