What are the swimming conditions in Karon beach?

Generally the swimming conditions overall are not bad in Karon beach. However I should warn you that during the rainy season which is from May until October there can be dangerous swimming conditions at Karon beach due to strong undercurrents. So if you are there during this time of year then please try to swim close to one of the lifeguard stations or towers.

During the dry season which is from November until April you should have no problem with the swimming conditions in Karon beach. I would like to point out that these seasonal swimming conditions basically apply to all the beaches in Phuket.
