Is Youtube blocked in Thailand?

There was a certain period of time a few years back when Youtube was blocking in Thailand. This had something to do with videos which were being hosted in Youtube which somehow put the King of Thailand in a bad light. This is most definitely a big no no in Thailand as the King of Thailand is very much respected so Thai authorities ordered the internet service providers to block Youtube from all internet users in Thailand.

This problem seems to have been resolved after a discussion between Thai authorities and management of Youtube and now only certain videos on Youtube are blocked for internet users in Thailand. This normally only involved uploaded clips which somehow poke fun of the Thai King. Internet censorship in Thailand is rather common and there are a lot of websites which are blocked in Thailand including gambling websites, anti government websites and sex websites.
