Where to get an abortion in Phuket?

You might be a bit surprised but abortion is still illegal in Thailand normally but there are a few exceptions and that includes if the doctor has to  save the mother's life, preserve the mother's physical or mental health or in case the pregnancy is a result of rape or incest. If any of this is the case then you can get the abortion at any of the hospitals in Phuket.

In case any of those conditions do not apply then the only way to get an abortion is to go to an illegal abortion clinic in Phuket. I have heard that there are a few of those but they are basically butchers and many women end up getting permanent health problems after a visit to one of these illegal Phuket abortion clinics.
