How much are yacht charters in Cancun?

To be honest with you, although I did live and work in Cancun before, I never went on or arranged yacht charters in Cancun. So I had a look at the various websites which offers Cancun yacht charters and I was pretty shocked with the steep prices I found. I saw some hourly rates of around 500 USD per hour for a fair sized yacht or daily rates of around 4500 USD per day. The price does however include the crew, fuel and probably drinks and food.
