The Green School located north of Denpasar and south of Ubud is a highly recommended school. The school is set in the jungle village of Sibang near Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. The school has three main goals and they are to be able to teach the kids the basics like math, english and science; to teach the kids the value of the environment through the Green Studies Program; and embracing arts, crafts, music, drama, story-telling and many more. The early years program which includes the nursery level, lays the foundations of basic skills in oral language, pre-literacy, mathematics, science, and with a heavy emphasis on the creative arts. The approach to learning is Steiner influenced, recognizing the importance of the development of the well-rounded child.
