According to the law of Indonesia, a marriage is legitimate if it has been performed according to the laws of the respective religious beliefs of the parties concerned. There are other requirements needed for a marriage to be performed in Bali and they are as follows:
File with the Civil Registry Office a notice of Intention to Marry.
The Letter of No Impediment to Marriage by your Consular Representative.
Passport for foreign citizens
Certified birth certificate
Certified divorce decree or death certificates regarding the termination of all previous marriages.
Four 4x6 cm photos, both partners side by side.
The Civil Registry office has a Mandatory Waiting Period of 10 working days from the date of filing.
