Is Cancun nice for spending Christmas?

Cancun is definitely a nice place for spending Christmas weather wise as the Christmas season falls during the dry season so you won't be bothered with too much rain. Temperatures are obviously warm considering the tropical climate that Cancun has however humidity is low during Christmas in Cancun.

However there is one small problem for those travelers and tourists visiting Cancun during Christmas. It is the tourist peak season which means that all the hotels and resorts as well as the airlines will charge premium rates. So if you are a budget traveler then I don't think that Cancun would be a very nice place to spend your Christmas as it would end up costing you a lot of money.
