An easy, cheap and fast way to get from Bangkok to Korat is by bus. There are currently no flights between Bangkok and the airport of Nakhon Ratchasima so if you don't want to rent a car then the best option for you would be to take the bus. Please note that there is also a train which goes from Bangkok to Korat but its takes considerably longer so I would advice against using that form of transportation.

The bus from Korat to Bangkok leaves at both the old and new bus station in Korat. The ticket price is around 220 Thai Baht for a comfortable VIP bus and the length of the journey from the Korat bus station to Mo Chit station in Bangkok depends on the time of day you are going and whether or not there are any traffic accidents. But normally the bus trip should take around 3 and a half hours.
