Bus tickets aren't all that expensive for the bus between Korat and Bangkok. However please note that there are different category buses which go between Bangkok and Korat. A ticket on a VIP / 1rst Class bus will cost around 220 Thai Baht. If you take a red bus, some of them might not have air-conditioning, then ticket prices are around 120 - 150 Thai Baht.
